A small vampire in a high-collared cape, hair combed into a neat widow’s peak, two tiny fangs showing in a friendly smile. This free vampire coloring page is drawn for children who want Halloween without anything actually alarming on the paper.
Who this page is for
Ages 4–9. The cape is one large sweeping shape that carries the page, and the face and buttons are small details for whoever wants them.
Things to talk about while you color
- The black cape with the tall collar is from the stage, not from folklore — it was designed so an actor could exit quickly.
- Vampire bats are real, live in Central and South America, and are about the size of a mouse.
- Old vampire stories come from many countries and almost none of them agree on the rules.
Make it an activity
The cape usually gets black on the outside and red on the inside. Ask your child to pick two colors of their own and say what the vampire’s favourite food is instead of the obvious one.
How to print it so it looks great
Use Fit to page on A4 or US Letter. The cape is a big flat area — if a marker soaks through to the next sheet, three quick fixes here.
